Members of the Sonoma County Knitting Guild help support a number of different community projects, including:
- afghans for Afghans
- afghans for Afghans is a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that sends hand-knit and crocheted blankets and sweaters, vests, hats, mittens, and socks to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan.
- Children's Village (Doll sweater pattern)

- Legacy
- The Legacy is a non-profit retail sewing and craft thrift store that is dedicated to support the Sebastopol Senior Center and serve the community.
